We’re delighted to announce the signing of 23 year old Connor Brown as our overseas player for the upcoming 2025 season. A big thank you to his agent at Peak Performance Sports Management for helping us acquire Connor’s services for the season ahead.
Connor plays his cricket in Gold Coast, Australia at Gold Coast Districts CC and is a left arm seamer and right hand batter playing regularly for the first team in the Queensland Premier League in Grade Cricket. Recently he’s played alongside some notable Aussie internationals like Michael Neser, Kane Richardson, Matthew Kuhnemann & Xavier Bartlett and this season alongside Irish international Fionn Hand. So far this season in his 21 matches he’s picked up 34 wickets at an average of 18.32 with best bowling figures of 4-18 for his club. He’s currently playing a key part in their 2-day league campaign with the side sitting in 3rd place, Connor playing 5 of their 8 games and 4th overall in the main league which combines One Day 50 over & T20 cricket. He has previous experience of club cricket in the UK, playing for Enfield CC in London during the 2022 and 2023 seasons with 51 wickets and averaging over 20 with the bat, scoring 532 runs.
Speaking on the move Connor said: “I am super excited to join Bangor CC in the summer of 2025! I am an extremely passionate cricketer who values the ‘club first, team second, individual third’ mindset and I look forward to having a positive impact on the club for this summer! I can’t wait to join up in April and meet you all!”
